TE9 is located 7 cun above TE4 (wrist crease), between the radius and ulna, following the line between TE4 and TE10, at the midpoint of the posterolateral forearm.

• Regulates the superficial Qi flow (Wei Qi)

• Relieves pain and tension in the elbow and arm
