GB32 is located 2 cun inferior to GB31, along the lateral midline of the thigh, in the muscle portion between the vastus lateralis and biceps femoris.

Curiosity

GB32 Zhongdu, 'Central Capital', works deeply on the lateral thigh muscles. It is an often overlooked point but extremely useful in neuromuscular pain with lateral irradiation, especially in chronic syndromes due to stagnation or persistent Dampness. It is also used in post-traumatic rehabilitation to restore Qi and Blood flow in the muscle fascia.
